International:
Members of the research platform regularly present their findings and exchange with international colleagues at international conferences such as by the European Association for the Study of Science and Technology (EASST) or the US-based Society for Social Studies of Science (4S).
The work and international impact of the platform will continuously be supported by collaboration with international partners, such as the Munich Center for Technology in Society (MCTS) in Germany or the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) in the Netherlands.
Ulrike Felt, head of the platform, is part of the editorial board of the recently launched Journal of Responsible Innovation and member of the advisory board of the project PerformE (Performing ELSA: Governance of and governmentality in biotechnology and nanotechnology research) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
National:
In Austria, we regularly exchange with members of the Plattform Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) Österreich, a network of scholars and practitioners with experiences from national and international RRI projects.
The research platform work in close interconnection with the Department of Science and Technology Studies at the University of Vienna, which has a long standing record in excellent research on the governance and transformation of scientific work cultures.
Members of the platform, as well as other distinguished scholars, offer courses on a wider range of topics that are relevant to RRI (e.g. Open Science, Science-Society Relationship, Gender&Innovation), in the Master of Arts 'Science - Technology - Society'.
